Am helping a buddy with his CA95 1964. It was running great but a PO did a nefarious KREEM job and the carbs got filled with crap and the bike was running poorly as a result. I took off the tank, cleaned an re-sealed, cleaned the carb and reassembled. Fuel supply is fine, and bike is producing spark. The bike has an open type air filter. It is not starting. I have tried every variation of the air/fuel mixture but still no dice. I can hear it's not even close.
One thing I did notice is that he had somehow reassembled the "power air jet" with a number 100 jet, when it is listed as 130. The only replacement in the keyster kit was a 140 so I put that in to no avail. It was running previously with the 100 though but I have exhausted the variations to make that run correctly.
I am sure, as usual, there is a simple carb problem to address but I am having trouble finding it. Can you guys make some suggestions about where to look? Everything corresponds to the correct position. It's baffling me
Thanks, Mike
