I’ve followed along on this thread for a long time. I don’t think I’ve ever replied on anything because you’re on a different level than me, but just wanted to say I really have enjoyed seeing all the fabulous work you’ve done and are still doing. Great work :)

Hey Interceptor,

thanx for the kind words - appreciated.

However, I am now 82 years old and started my mechanical journey when I was 12 .......... first a 2 stroke James Captain field bike, then a KTT Velo Sprint bike aged 15 and then straight into a Triumph Thunderbird at 16, which I passed my riding test on.

So in reality I have 70 years of experience under my belt building "our" type of bikes [ still building ! ] - which was reinforced by 40 years of design and manufacturing replica and race cars, building Drag race V8 engines, and then in the last 20 years since my retirement - design consultancy work.

NEVER ever consider you are "not worthy" to contribute to conversations - that's how you gain experience, and you will find that your comments are always appreciated. Never be afraid to ask that "silly" question - I can assure you we've all done it.

A few pix of my projects from the archives

Again, thanx for your interest. ATB;

TJ
