Carbs...

Been Around the Block
Took the carbs off my bike to change jets after I put on new exhaust. Put the carbs back on just now, but bike wont start, just keeps turning over. I checked the float bowls and there's no fuel in #4 float bowl. What could I have forgotten? I also noticed that there is only one carb vent hose on the carb (I think it was that way when I took them off), could this be part of my problem? It an oil cooled Suzuki GSX 750.

AW: Carbs...

the other bowls are filled with fuel?

check the fuel lines...sounds like theres somthing blocking fuel to your carb..

Checked the lines...there's a vent line that comes from the tank, I changed that and it started but it's idling high so I'll work on that now

Got the bike running with new jets, but it ran like sh!t, so I decided to put it back to stock. Bike starts but rev really high, idle screw has no effect on the idle!!!! I have the petrol mix screw back out 2 1/4 turns as it says in the manual, what am I missing. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the responses guys..likes like there were a few issues(some still going on), the cables weren't routed properly and the carbs weren't seated properly on the block. Still have a throttle cable issue, but i'll deal with that later.
