Carby tuning issue on honda cb125s

Hi guys, just a quick question. I bought my 125 not running, cleaned the carby and fuel tank and away we go. Have been fiddling with the jets on the carby to get it idling nicely. However, sometimes the revs just start climbing up all of a sudden. Could it be a blockage? Any ideas?

TIA

Google "wandering idle".

Of course, make sure the valve clearances are set, float bowl height is correct, air box & filter is in good working order, etc.

This happened to me when my pilot jet was too lean. Try changing it if you can. Also, get the bike nice and warm (10-15 minute ride around the block) and then set your idle adjustment screw.
