CB 125s Build

Hey everyone! I recently took the MSF course and got my permit (it was in another state so I don't have a full license yet) and figured it's time to invest in a toy. I love the look of cafe racers and figured that a small displacement bike would be cool and small enough to stay out of trouble. Anyway, I found this little gem on craigslist so I picked her up. She's missing a front wheel, side covers, and front fender, but other than that everything is in great shape.

I'm trying to upload some photos but its not letting me... I'll keep trying

I was able to get the frame stripped (only took an afternoon or so) and I'm taking it to a sandblaster this weekend. I'm thinking I'll paint it white after all the powder coat and surface rust is off... any thoughts on frame color?

I was able to pick up this guy, also off of craigslist. The engine in the above post doesn't turn over and the throttle is stuck so I'm going to drop the engine from this one into the above frame once it's painted and all. The frame in this pic is chopped up a bit because the guy I bought it from was using it as a track bike. If I combine these two, I'll I should have one cool ride and a parts bike.

The tank is being smoothed out and painted semi-gloss black at with a white racing stripe a friend's bodyshop. Now I begin work on the seat!

Nice to see the small little hondas are getting well established in here! :)

On the frame colour white would be great but its a B***H to clean I think black has the cleanest look to it but if you want to go white by all means do it! depends wehat colour your planning on doing the tank, seat if your fibreglassing the tail i presume :D hows it coming aling got it back from the blasters yet? keep the work coming, nice to see these! :)

Tom.

Looks good!
Id be wary of just swapping that motor over, if hes been using it as a track bike its probably in need of a rebuild at the very least.
