Bought it for 50 bucks. about 500 deep so far, paint and wiring is all that's left

Wiring is not working out so well but if any one could give me a clue as to exactly how the controls are resoldered that would be awesome.
the first is the actual bike the second is a mockup of what i would like to see it finished like. I stole the seat from bgfootball67's seat i really like the shape. i would have photoshopped off the sun but i didnt feel like it. i also want the rims to be red and the air box to have #75 small oval number plates. i think it will be pretty sweet.

Agreed and although my heart is with Kawasaki, you just can't go wrong with a Honda Twin or just about ANY Honda for that matter. If you get it finished, running well and on the road for less than a grand you will kick yourself if you ever sell it for a much more expensive, but not as soulful bike.

what do you mean by re soldering the controls? there shouldn't be a need to re solder anything unless something broke loose inside.

yeah I messed up both my controls putting my new bars on I am partly retarded so that might have something to do with it. Any help would be awesome

maybe? .........yeah i had a wiring diagram and some stuff wasn't up to par as far as working order goes so i figured i would start over once i had the bars back on but the diagram isn't making complete sense so i am kinda stuck with things not working again.

That first seat is awesome. I'd have kept that one. Good luck with it all.

I'm with chris,

My call, keep the seat, add pods and loose the airboxes, and fab up something with the battery and electrics to keep them out the way. Keep it simple and clean

+1 on the flat seat... the only thing i would do is try and hide the light in the uhpolstery, then cut out the bottom for the license light. btw, its a real easy disconnect from the wiring harness. open up your seat, take off the tank... take the whole wiring out with the bars. go inside- have a beer and take it out while sitting on your ass. With my 360, the guy before me cut the wires short, and so i even had to basket case the guy together... my blinkers still arent working. Word of caution- watch that white wire off the headlamp hi/lo, it looks like two wires bridged, but it goes to another.... had me fucked up for the longest time.

Do you have any pictures of the 500T tank on the bike from the front? I always thought the tanks was a bit too wide for the bike.

Pics would be cool.
