CB 360T Project Begins

So, I'm new to the site, but I am excited to join. Lot's of great info on this site and everyone here seems very friendly and helpful.

Well, I picked up a '75 CB360T for a dime and finally brought it home today. The engine turns over, and the tank is dingless and clean inside, but there is a lot of surface rust throughout the forks, pipes, etc. The front caliber is seized up and there are a few other issues. But, I planned on a complete strip down and rebuild anyway - cafe style. No doubt, CafePete's 360 is a huge inspiration.

Yogi, I do have my work cut out... I have the bike down to the frame now, so I will take my time putting her together, cleaning, polishing, painting and powdercoating... Engine rebuild and carb rebuild are in order. But I have to say the original owner took good care of her while he had her... I have the original manual and he detailed every adjustment and maintenance he did up until the 2000s. He is suffering from Alzheimer's now, and I suspect this bike has sat stagnant since he last road it in 2008. Even the interior of the tank is nicely sealed w no rust, and like I said, frame, tank, seat are all clean, no tears or dings. We'll see what I find on the insides... I'll try to post more pics this weekend.
