CB 500T gas tank

Been Around the Block
I was going to cut this up to make a seat cowl out of,but I don't have the heart to.No petcock or cap,a few very minor dents,original paint,no bondo (yet),very clean inside. I would love to trade this thank for a pair of side covers (body covers) to fit my 1973 CB 450 Honda.I am looking for a set of solid covers worthy of being chrome plated (no dents or rust holes). I would consider trading for other CB 450 parts as well.
 
I have a set of guages very nice I can post pics if you are interested and I have to look i hight have a few other things floating around.
I run a cb500t tank on my yammie and I have been looking for a spare god forbid I go down. SO if your interested it will go to a good home and not be chopped.

I might have some cb450 stuff that you might like!!
 
The tank is going to a place that it will be given the respect it deserves. Thanks,Mortikan,for keeping me from going "Noel" on this vintage item. (sorry,Noel,just teasing).

LOL!!.. It wasnt going to be chopped!!.. It was going to be chromed and put on my cb450.. as a spare.... Oh well...Im searching for an 81 or 82 Suzuki gs450S tank...

BAHAHAHHAA...ok..ok...so I guess my reputation proceeds me...but honestly, it was just that one time in band camp... BAHAHHA...
 
I guess now would not be a good time to tell you I can get my hands on a gs450 tank I don't know what year it is. I was eying it to work out a seat configuration for myself.

post up a pic and lets have a look..
Im trying to get my hands on a gs450s, the more square tank...
