Just finished my wife's bike- little '71 CB100 . . . absolute blast to ride, beats the hell out of a moped ;D A few of the changes:

Made headlight ears out of bicycle seatpost clamps and small square solid steel
Cut up airbox to fit battery inside
Drag bars with stock 'slide' throttle assembly- fun, fun, fun.
Took down to frame an repainted/wire wheel cleaned/polished everything
GFTP seat- used boat rubber drain plugs form HW store to mount- works well (used on several bikes now)

She's still trying to get the hang of shifting . . .

Thanks all! She loves it . . . trying to decide whether or not to strip it and paint it or leave it be. Gotta at least paint the seat cowl . . . also have some vintage small turn signals I need to put on and a tail light.

I agree on matching the cowl to the tank, but it would be hard to do and the tank has some small dings and scratches. I will probably repaint the tank and seat- she wants black and creame (off-white). Will likely use the same scheme as original.

Wow I really like this little fun machine !
You did a really nice job there, I think your wife will have lots of fun with it...I would^^
