i was a bit harsh :-[ BUT
that thing had about 14" of wheel travel as it was lashed up
we are talking what looked like a 5-1 leverage ratio with a shock that has what looked to have 3+" shaft travel
stock it had less than 4" of wheel travel
the math can be done , but it can also be done by simply removing the spring and just observing what is happening
and or using cardboard templates and pins on a table making models in movement
take the fucking spring off the shocks or shock and observe what is happening, this is the very first thing that must be done when desinging/changing shockmounts and or putting in a fucking hoopdy LOOP or a retarded ass brat seat
i guess it is just too simple
i can count on one hand the "builders " i have seen that even bother to remove the springs and SIMPLY observe what is gonna happen
