cb125 cases with cb100 internals, carb

59mm piston in a bored cb125 cyl will leave about 1.5mm of sleeve. I don't like that. 750 sleeve it is.

Time to assemble parts...

Edit: can I use a 550 sleeve? Second over bore on a 550 is 59mm so I'm guessing yes.

Yep, I would use 750 sleeve and go 62~63mm though ;) (I know a LOT more now than I did in 1978)

The cb750 ones you typed of earlier? Is it from a 750k? They are less domed correct? Or 59mm? Since I am getting a 750 sleeve I guess I could just slip the 750 sleeve in. Would save the $ on machining of the sleeve and put that $ into getting the piston reliefs/fitting the sleeve into the cb125 cyl done.

What would you want for it? You take PayPal?

I have decided on a 75-77 xl125 head instead of the xr200 due to the required machining.

28mm or 30mm carb? Hoping the 30 will work as I can just grab a takeoff xr200 setup

Edit: the 750 isn't a 14mm pin, I'm a fool. What piston you be talking about?

I have some used standard cb750 pistons. They have valve cuts, thing someone used them in a twin. Also have an NOS cb750k for an early bike. A used wiesco(64?mm). An XR200 wiesco that is used but has a hell of a good dome!

I might even have some other single parts.
