Hey all. So I spent some time looking on the site to see if there was an answer out there and there were for some other engines so I just want to make sure it is normal with my engine as well. I have a 1975 CB125 that I have been building from boxes. Big step forward today I got the the engine fired up (made me feel giddy...brilliant
. I have spent the last few weeks getting the top end put back together and the carbs rebuilt, timing, etc. I left the generator crankcase cover off and when I fired it up oil was spitting out of the side of the bike. I was not aware that the generator would need cooling so was wondering if any of you know if this is normal on the CB125 or if I have a blown seal somewhere. Thanks in advance for any input.
Cheers, get the beers in.
