CB125S oil leak from drain plug

Been Around the Block
My '74 CB125S is leaking oil from around the drain plug. The plug is tightened properly according to the torque spec from the manual, the crush washer is there, and it still seems to be leaking. I've cleaned the underside of the crankcase and let it leak for a bit, to make sure it was coming from the drain plug. I'm going to check the mating surfaces of the drain plug/crush washer to be extra sure as well as try some RTV around the plug.

What else can I do?

I use teflon tape on all drain plugs. Never had any leaks since. You really have to be careful and tighten a lot less. Because teflon is so slippery, the bolts get tight quickly with little effort. I broke a few fibre washers before i realised this. Now I just nip them kind of like an oil filter. Very easy to undo, and your washers will never need replacing.
