cb200 header bolt help

Stupid question here- on the cb200 exhaust header bolts where it comes off engine- there is a short and long threaded end. Anyone know which end goes into motor and which end goes on exhaust flange?

Look at the parts fiche at bikebandit.com might help you out.

My guess would be long threaded side out, because the collar has to go over it but don't take my word for it I've never wrenched on a cb200

tried that and also tried shop manual. Neither of those resources help.
Still looking for assistance with this.

Long side out. Now I'm second guessing myself. Let me go and pull one out. BAck in 10

Yep. It's long side out. Not that it makes a lot of difference.

thanks, i tried both ways and there was a difference as far as how tight you could get the exhaust on there. Thanks for checking. I will do long side out.
