Im sure that most Hondas from 250 to 750 of that era used the same cups and cones. later bikes probably changed but maybe not.

Yeah, Honda was pretty into parts interchangeability (that's a real word now... I promise ;) ) but "every model" is just not possible.

Thanks heaps guys I'll check out that site cycle freak and I will have to send the dime guys a email as well I have a big order that I have in my wish list that I may need to add those to if they fit. Think I may need to just stick with ball ones as well as the tapered seams to be a bit of a issues to get the exact ones.
Cheers

Well I was not able to find the size of the bearings afterall. I thought I had written them down. Anyway I got replacement bearings (tapered roller) from Les Barker,. He is a great guy to do buisness with. His website is VINTAGEADVANTAGEMOTORCYCLES.COM. E-mail is vintrace@comcast.net. and phone# is (360)699-4964. he is ouit of Vancouver Washington. Just hit him up and tell him ehat you've got/need and he will hook you up. He does make the bearing kits himself. The bearing kit that you got that was the wrong size is probably for a 76 or later model. The 74 and 75 had a odd size only used for those two years (my understanding anyway) and due to low demand aftermarket companies just quit making them. I actually ended up with a bearing kit that did not fit also that came from All Balls before I found out about Les. Anyway good luck if there is anything else I can help out with don't hesitate ask. Jared.

thanks for that mate emailed les this week and am going to grab one from him next pay.

all other guys the universal ones from dime suites most but not all bikes like the smaller one suffer and some of the biger ones like the cb750-900 etc.

Ok guys stuck again. I put the foot rests on and side stand today but have two pieces of random metal left over. Any thoughts?. Thought they were part of the kick stand so I painted them.

Also finding out how shit the rust paint is as it scratches very easily. not sure how the hubs i painted will turn out after a few k's on them.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated

Are those little tabs pretty thin metal? They almost look like little "loop tabs" to hold the breather hose or the battery overflow tube......

You don't really "need" them if that is what they are......they just keep the hoses from flailing all around.

I can't speak for your 200, but they are usually mounted on smaller bolts at the back of the engine / bottom of the frame.

Ok stuck again. Dose anyone know how to pull a cb200 fuel tank cap apart I want to clean it up and change the seal but have no idea. Help would be awesome guys :)

IIRC, the rubber gasket comes off, then there are 4 prongs that need bent inward to take the vent apart. Have a picture of it handy?

Yeah - in the 1st pic, notice the 4 little teeth that are digging into the top chrome cover? Those are the ones that hold the vent in place. It's been a while since I took one apart, so I can't offer much other assistance.

Except: once you do get it apart, don't use an air compressor to blow out the vent. Small parts go flying.

Sorry Michael - I can't remember what I used. Probably whatever it took that I had laying around.......

I only took 1 or 2 apart, and that was a couple years ago.

Really I will defiantly try that then too. All I really need is the seal so if I don't have to take it apart that would be great and if it cleans the surface rust off I'm happy. Thank you will try. :)

hi guys any of you used or rate these. im in need of new controls and need a point in the right direction?
