Cb200 help pleeeease

Plates are the same, the modification was to put two steel plates back to back,(#13 second post)it helps prevent clutch overheating when abused.
I've done the same mod on various 'race' motors
Drill the inner hub to increase oil flow, doesn't have any holes at present
Also, modify oil transfer piece (#13, first pic) prevents top end damage if your red lining everywhere

So got the new rectifier ordered.

Will this work?

Also I have been told to re coil the stator as they over time get in shite condition. Any thoughts ?

Personally I wouldn't have bought the old style selenium rectifier, modern technology has made them obsolete unless your doing a 10/10 restoration
With a modified bike you could have re-wired it easier with a modern reg/rect

Hey guys anyone know how long the fuel lines are ment to be on the cb200 the bike stops at times like its not getting enough fuel like the lines arnt long or short enough. I have a new petcock that works fine but I just can't get the fuel to flow thoroughly.

The length doesn't matter, as long as it goes from the petcock to the carbs you're good there, route it however you like I makes no difference.

Perhaps your floats are sticking? I occasionally have to tap my float bowls with a screwdriver to free them up.

Re: Cb200 help pleeeease

+1. Just make sure the length does not cause any kinks . Mine are rather long, but with the way mine are routed any shorter and I get a nice kink in the line

Thanks guys I did tap the bowl and she seams to be sucking more fuel but I will have to go for a run to make sure I think. So fingers crossed the floats where just sticking slightly and now there fine.
