I have a cb250 superdream that I picked up off a buddy for a cheap project.
Unfortunately he ditched the stock airbox and chucked a couple of cheap emgo pods on it.
From searching around I have seen these bikes with the current keihin cv carbs seem to not like running the pods and we have tried to rejet and space the filters out from the carb to flow better. Carbs have also been ultrasonic cleaned but still have issues in the 4500 rpm rev range.
So I have been leaning towards ditching the stock carbs for a cable slide like a mikuni vm28.
Has anyone had any experience or have any idea on the sizing that would be best for the 250?
