CB350 camshaft questions

using the camcase and all the parts etc from my parts engine, the "good" engine one isnt useable. but i need to replace 2 of the rocker arms that are all dinged up, are all these parts from different models interchangeable ?

no, the earlier years had a different cam and rockers

I can't remember the name of the post but I put pictures up while ago showing the different rocker profiles. You can't mix the early cams with late rockers or vise versa; they'll bind up and you won't be able to roll the engine over smoothly.

be sure and check and set if needed the camshaft endplay you can do it on the bench without the rockers installed

Thanks for the Info. is the cam case/cover universal. Im on the stage of cleaning, polishing, painting etc the covers & cases. In the meantime ill guess try to find a complete setup from K0 model.

just to be sure, are all other parts like the spacer, rock arm pin, valves etc the same and interchangeable. ? is it just the cam shaft and rockers that need to come from same model ?

yes universal except for the cams/rockers as mentioned above
