Been lurking for a while but never posted a build thread. So here it goes.

It started with just a 73 cb350 frame. I had several cb and cl bikes and parts, but got rid of a lot of it to focus on this project.

So the bike as it sits so far

71 SL 350 motor
cbr600 f2 front forks
cbr600 f2 front disk and caliper
yamaha fzr swing arm
yamaha rd400 mag rims

The sl motor will be fairly built out. I have 2 over pistons for and the heads will be ported and polished. I had some mikuni round slides for it but decided to sell them for the mikuni flat slides. All of the suspension is upgraded along with the brakes.

Thanks man. It is a cb200t tank. It took a lot of work to get it to sit right, but I like the way it looks. Ya I do need some bigger pics. I will go take better pics later.

That swingarm conversion looks nice! Make sure those outter supports are strong enough, from the pics it looks to be supported by a thin bracket. Needs to be robust!
How much modification did you need to do to fit that swingarm to the frame?

The outer supports are the factory originals. It took some work to get it to fit but when I am done it will mount exactly the same way the original was. I just need to box in where I had to cut it out a little and have some bronze swing arm bushings made so I can use the original swing arm bolt. Now I just need to decide if I want to monoshock it or just weld on some studs to mount the shocks where they are in the pics. I really want to do an underslung monoshock like a buell has.It wouldnt be too hard to do just have to get the geometry correct.

So I finally made the decision to monoshock the bike. I love the look of an underslung monoshock. I found the perfect shock on craigslist yesterday work can finally start up again on this project. I have a spare frame to practice on so that way i can get the geometry correct on that bike then do a final version on my titled frame. I will post pictures later to see what you guys think.
