CB350 kickstand hitting Emgo shorty

I just put some Emgo shorty mufflers on my CB350 and I'm having trouble with the kickstand hitting the left muffler when I put it up to ride. Anyone have any suggestions of something I can do to keep it from rattling and hitting while I ride and smacking into the muffler when I put it up?

Know any welders? Pretty simple to weld a stop on

I do, but not up near Boston. I am up here working for the summer and don't really know anyone

You have a pic? If you don't have access to a welder, you could probably fit some kind of rubber sleeve over the stand where its hitting, would act like the stopper on the stock center stand, only the stopper would be on the stand instead of the muffler.

In the same vein, maybe you could drill out and tap a hole for a small bolt to act as a stop.
