CB350 Need longer lower triple tree pinch bolts to mount headlight

I want to use a bottom mount Bates-style headlight with a simple aluminum bracket that bolts to the lower triple tree with the existing pinch bolts. The mount is almost 1/8" thick (plus the lock washer thickness) and wondered if there is a similar high strength bolt available that is a bit longer than stock, so the amount of thread contact in the triple tree remains the same - or am I overthinking things?

Overthinking. Grab a grade 8 that's 1/8 longer and go to town

Ya, my back up plan is to get Metric grade 8's from Brafasco or Fastenal if there isn't a bit longer Honda bolt.
In my area, Fastenal especially have pretty big minimum buys but I'll check just the same.

Pat - walk into the local Canadian Tire and pick up what you need. They typically have a surprisingly good metric bolt selection.

My local CTC didn't have any grade 8's in stock but I may be able to find something in their automotive section
I'll check out Pacific when I'm in Toronto next week.
