CB350F, Bad floats?

Goin to be a bear, might as well be a grizzly..
My first project bike. CB350F Really decent condition. But leaks gas out of maybe 2 of the float buckets on the carb. When I took it apart I noticed all of the gaskets were pretty much trash. But not sure what else. Posted a few pics and maybe if someone knows where I can get some new floats if needed. Dont really wanna pay 20$ a pop from some nut on ebay. Keep in mind I just took these off and have not had a chance to clean it.

Floats look great man. Carbs need taken apart and thoroughly cleaned but you're probably fine.

Cleaning those is simple if you take your time and do one at a time.
 
Most likely the Float valves, I had the same problem with my CB350f when I got it. That is also a common problem with many vintage bikes. Replace those and clean them up real good and you should be good to go.
 
Where is it leaking from exactly, and when? Is it constant, or just when you were riding? Is it just dripping out?
 
I believe it's leaking from the seam between the bowls where the gaskets are and it only leaks when I ride it.
 
Replace the gaskets. Sounds like they arent sealed right anymore, and when fuel is sloshing around, theyre dripping a bit.
 
Well your overflows are either dripping too and you don't know it, or they are stopped up. The bowls should not have enough fuel in them to fill fuel past the bowl gasket, if it does, the bowls are overfilling due to bad floats or float valves.
 
True... But if its just a couple drips and only happens while riding (i.e. bouncing around, leaning, etc...) they could be seated improperly and/or have shitty gaskets.

If its leaking at all you should check the float levels to make sure they are correct. Also, best to check out your oil to ensure no gas has made its way into the oil. Probably hasn't but anytime I have any leak or overflow I check anyway just to be sure.
 
Ya like I said 3 of the 4 gaskets were trashed. Well I have new gaskets in the mail I'll try the easiest thing first and change them an clean up the carbs and see what happens.

i dont think it would hurt to get a rebuild kit and throw it in their float bowl gasket all the internal oring and new needle and seets. make sure you double check the float levels.. when tyour all done pull the cable and let go and mae sure you hear them close all the way.. good luckk
