Hey guys been a while since I have been on :( But I got back to working on my bike, Going with GS850 pistons. So I ordered them, GS850g pistons 1982, please tell me these are the correct GS850 pistons. If so itll be at the machiene shop next week and hopefully be getting assembled later this month. Ill catch everyone up on my project once I get my photos up. Another question, 30mm Mikuni carbs, these the way to go?

the gs850 pistons should all be the same as long as they're from a 2 valve engine, I ran my 378 with stock carbs because I didn't have a hot cam, it performed well, and I would hesitate to go up in carbs until you do other modifications which will increase the amount of air the engine needs
 
Alright well SCI will be were ill get my vavles from. As far as carbs, I might just go with the Minkuni. I was looking at mine last night and they have seen their better days. All the Screw holes have been eaten and I don't think they will be salvageable.
