CB360 converting to drum, need help wiring drum hand controls

So I'm working on my first project, I've been wanting to build a café for several years and finally got the chance after my brother dropped off a cb360 barn find and told me I now owed him 250.00 that he bought it for. It was in decent enough condition and with new gas and ignition components it fired up and rode pretty good so I kindly obliged and gladly paid up. Everything has been going pretty good so far but then I decided I wanted to convert to a front drum wheel A. because it looks better, and B. because it wasn't much more than fixing the locked up caliper and bad master cylinder. So I bought a complete front wheel, all hardware and hand controls off a cb350 my guys over at Rubber City Vintage Cycle had just got in to part out. Everything has been cut and dry swapping over but I'm now running into an issue that the functions on the drum brake hand controls are different. On the drum brake it has a 3-way switch for headlamp on/off and high/low selection, as to the disc brake control that has headlamp on/off and the high/low selector is on the left hand control. I'm new to wiring and just need some help with figuring out the best way to re-wire to make it all functional. From what I can gather I should be able to re-route my high beam and low beam wire from the left hand control to the right accordingly and just tape off the HL wire that runs between the right and left hand controls because I would assume the HL wire just sends power from the on/off switch to the high/low switch then on to the headlamp it's self. I have the diagram for my stock config for a cb360 and the wiring diagram for the cb350 the drum wheel and hand controls would have come from to try to compare the two to figure this out(I've attached both) but it's not apples to apples so I'm not to sure if I'm correct. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

the black wire in the cb360 switch housing for the (head low and high / turn signal) is your power line. So you need a soldering gun, learn how to solder on youtube or whatever. Tap into that black power line and feed 12v to the blue (high beam) and white (low beam) they are already grounded so youd be good to go. if you need help, im a moto mechanic just PM me ill help you get that thing wired.

Im sorry bubba, my brother did the exact same thing to me...Now I know he hates me. You will find out, your brother shoulda paid you $250 bucks to take the thing.
