Bottom half of my 360 engine is done and all I'm waiting for now is guide/tensioner combo. It would be nice to clear up some of the clutter and I was hoping I could put the motor in the frame and build the rest up while its in there...can this be done or should i just wait?

I just pulled the top end off of my CL360 motor with the entire engine still in the frame. I believe it should clear the Cb as well.

i would leave it out. you will thank me as you put the cam, cam chain and reset your valves while it's on the work bench. trust me.....

No you won't, 360 top end is easier to do in frame, stops engine moving about.
350 is impossible to do in frame (unless you cut top tube out ;D )

If you're doing it by yourself, it's often easier to put the 360 motor in a bit at a time. Less weight to man handle and less chance of dinging the paint/powder.

The bottom half is in the frame i'm just missing a few bolts. I don't want to jump the gun on anything but I'm tempted to put the chain on and start with electrics
