CB360 fork tubes same as CL350?

Since the tubes on my 73 CL350 have that wonderful rust/pitting where the stock headlight ears covered them and I don't know if I want to use the stock ears but, cant polish the tubes out because they are to far gone. Does anyone know if the fork tubes from a CB360 would slide in the lowers of the CL350? I have an extra set from a 360 but the damn things are packed up in storage due to me being in the middle of a move and I have no clue where they would be. But I gotta know!!

Part numbers are not the same, so that means something else is different between the two besides the fact that diameter is the same. Looking at the parts fiche, the assembly looks different.

Probably need the complete fork from the NON G model 360 to keep the front drum on the 350. Them's rare pickens. ;) If the part right under the clamp between the clamp and the slider is in good shape, then find a nice piece of metal tubing that will slide over the top part and either shine it up or paint it, like a piece of aluminum or brass tube.
 
i just did that very swap last night without any hassle, i had my CL350 front fork pitted to hell just as you, i threw them away and kept the lowers, found a good deal in a CB360 complete fork for 35 bucks, and the chrome tubes worked perfect witht he cl350 lowers
