CB360 missing screw

Hello all, I recently purchased a '75 CB360 and as I was going over it I noticed that it is missing the little cam adjustment screw and lock nut. The engine runs strong but is it even safe to run the engine with out this piece? Ive been searching everywhere for a replacement but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Can somebody give me the correct size so I can just run down to the hardware store and pick up something similar?

If it's the bolt that locks the plunger in place then I don't know how the camchain is staying tight. Should just be a regular M6 bolt.

Yup I think thats it frogman, thanks for the help!

DrJ, the bolt frogman linked to is the missing bolt is that the same one you were talking about?

The 360 system can be run at LOW speeds with out the bolt locking it down, its practically the same system as the 400F's and they are set with the bike running at idle.

I've set the tension on mine on the road once doing it that way, was right after I got things back together and it settled in half way through a 50 mile trip around the area to my work. Could really hear the difference.
