CB360 Neutral Switch confusion...

Hi guys

Hopefully a quick one.

Should the wire coming out of the stator cover be an earth?

I was under the impression it would NOT be an earth until it is connected to the neutral switch and neutral is engaged.

This bike is going together with the same wiring and worked completely before so this is a real headscratcher for me

Ahh maybe scratch this one.. I think i have bigger issues.

Neutral wire is earthing somewhere - both the other ends of it are unplugged. Also not getting any lights on the gauges...

Does a bad main earth result in general weirdness? I think it might be causing all of this.

Yup. I've seen a bad ground cause opposite turn signals to flash.

Bad ground is usually the cause for anything weird.
