CB360 shifting issues

My bike isn't shifting very smoothly. I can get it through all the gears, but sometimes it "hangs up" on one of them, or somehow goes into neutral between the gears. Im able to ride it, but I would like it to shift little better.

The other odd thing was that I noticed the neutral drum stop bolt was lose. I tightened it down, and the bike wouldn't shift at all! I took it out completely and now it is shifting. Albeit, not how I want it to. AND... my neutral light was staying on all the time... it doesn't seem to be anymore...

I have another issue as well but I believe they are unrelated; It would slip in 5th gear... or 4th. I can't remember now. It would spin when you gunned it but if you rev'ed up slowly it would stick. I bought some barnett springs and put in a 10-40w oil and I feel like that problem may be solved, but I haven't put the bike back together because I want to get to the bottom of this "sticky" shifter.

Any Ideas? icould something be bent up and keeping it fro running smooth? Ive pulled the plMy bike isn't shifting very smoothly. I havent been able to pull the clutch completely off because i think i need a special tool to get the centrifugal oil filter out. But i am spinning the trans as i shift. Any Ideas? Hopefully one that doesnt involve splitting the case? Although i would rather split the case and have it shift better. Ive looked around the different threads, but couldn't come across anyone having an issue with the bike not shifting smoothly, only threads where they were plain stuck.

When I had my 360 it did something similar when shifting. Solved it with heavy duty clutch springs but it sounds like your plates are slipping if it won't catch when you rip the throttle. Clutch kits are cheap enough it would be worth just getting it and installing, don't bother measuring to see if they are in spec. Also count the plates to make sure they're all in there

If your plates are slipping make sure the clutch slave on the sprocket cover is adjusted right. Slipping on hard throttle happened on my Katana when it wasn't adjusted correctly.

Clutch kit then, I noticed my cb900 has been slipping lately, but yesterday I was at a light and couldn't get it to get into any gear. Finally "fell" into first.
