I don't know how you got rearsets so cheap. I have been looking for days and never saw the set you bought, what are you searching for if you don't mind telling since you already won yours.lol

the way to do it is watch "rearsets" that are half way through, and are going cheap with no bidders. you may want to add about 8 to 10 listings to your watch. play your cards, and bid on one that you think will win through easily. i normally place my bid a day before to ward off people like me. works most of the time. if these dont work out too well ill sell them to someone on here for the price i paid.

also, thanks andrew. shes my baby. i do like to keep her dirty, im not a big fan of shiney things. big fan of practical, "i dont give a shit about road salt" kind of attitude, even though i will hit it with the power washer every so often. im going for a very 60's classic look, shes going to be dropped 2" and im just getting around to putting on the clip ons this weekend. also, im looking at getting those 350-18 firestone replicas (oh so cool) front and back.... i just dont know if they will fit, i have to do some measuring. ill be repainting the tank, im thinking a silver and print out some old school honda wing decals for both sides. ive been doing some metal foundry work lately, so im thinking of casting a new cool gas cap also. next year will be a strip down, and getting the wheels powdercoated and the frame powdercoated goldish color, and maybe black out some of the engine parts... that reminds me that i still need to mill out my front brake and tranny cover....

Here's to not fussing over niceness and just riding... How about that seat - what was your source, if you don't mind me asking?

a friend who i went to school with at UW-Platteville worked at an auto shop who did alot of glass work. the old man who owned the shop had a bunch of moulds laying around and my buddy found this 1 up mould cracked, and pretty dirty. costed me 35 bucks and a case of beer. she came out as good as the one i bought for my CL from GFTP. i could see maybe if i could get that mould... i havent talked to that guy in well over 6 months...

on another note, im thinking of going with these tires front and back, but i dont know if they will fit....

those tires by the way are 350-18.... i have no idea how to convert that over... does that mean 3.50 inches? does that mean a 400-18 is rougly 4 inches wide?

ok, well the 350-18 is roughly 3.5 inches wide, with a bead to tread hieght of 4.22 inches.
the 400 tire is roughly 4" wide, with a bead to tread hieght of 4.22 inches also... i think these suckers will fit...

any of you have a negative spot on this, please do... ill be measuring tomorrow.

There is a coversion chart on this link... also, I know the dennis kirk catalog has one in the back if you happen to have one...

And yes... a 3.5-18 is 3.5 inches by 18 inches
My personal reccomendation.... Kenda challengers... I've got 'em on mine... they really grip the road nicely...
