CB360t -- VA Beach

I picked up a garage kept 1975 cb360t with 16k mi on it yesterday. It runs, but I would imagine that some industrious carburetor work would do away with the current idle to 4k RPM lag. I plan on waiting until after I switch up the intake to approach carbs. (Armed with information from this forum, I'm killing the stock airboxes with a 2 into 1 intake -- Fernco rubber plumbing elbows and a K&N RC-0920).

I have yet to determine what I'm going to do with respect to the seat assembly / rear fender. Any reccomendations on cb350/360 glass solutions for a seat would be invaluable.

I'm too incompetent to lay my own glass, and Hotwing Glass is a little pricey for this project.

Today, I removed the seat, covers, tank, rear fender, tail light and rear turn signal assembly. Tomorrow, I plan on removing the front fender and headlamp assembly and beginning wetsanding, priming, wet sanding, priming, wetsanding . . . you get the idea.

The current dry rotted Continentals are being displaced in favor of some 3.5-18" Shinkos (What!!!? -- I'm on a budget, alright!).

These old CB twins demand 95 octane . . . so, I'm thinking my bottle of octane booster that "treats" 15 gallons need to be apportioned in 1/15s (I'm guessing the tank is about 1.5 gallons) to 93 octane. I couldn’t find a bottle that gave you octane outcome per OZ added – WTF?

I have new bars, but need mirror and grip solutions . . . I am really impressed by several of the under-bar and bar-end mirror applications I’ve seen here. Again, any recommendations are welcome -- thanks for having me -- peace.

Welcome to DTT man. Get some pics up here!

As far as grip/mirror ideas, it all comes down to what you like. Thats really a "you" decision. Find things you dig on other bikes and ask where they came from. The people here are truly amazing when it comes to helping out!

As far as glass pieces, check out Roccity. They are members, and put out a really great product at a reasonable price.

For anything else, dime city cycles is your one stop spot.
