cb400 superdream rear shock question

Hi New to dtt and after some advice,
I have a cb400 superdream and as we all know they have a clevis to clevis design shock. my question is can I take the top bolt that attaches the clevis to the frame and turn it around so that I can put an eye to clevis shock on and just put a nut over the original bolt? Or is this dangerous?

As there's no replies I'm gonna guess it's pretty dangerous. Will have to find another way to mount them
