Since we have a nice threadjack going, .....

Are those Kimtabs Mg or Al and if MG did you get them crack tested? I have a 3x18 magnesium Kimtab and cannot bring myself to use it on a fast motorcycle. I'll save mine for a display/museum piece. If I get it non destructively tested and they find no cracks I might be tempted to use it and that's not a good idea.

Aluminum rims are OK though as a rule.

Yes they are magnesium and yes they have been cracked checked. I bought these wheels new. They were the last set of wheels out the Kimtab factory door when they went bankrupt in 1976. So I know every mile that was put on these wheels.
