cb400n carb/ vac lines

So im ditching the airbox on my cb400n and on the bottom of the airbox there are 2 vac hoses (i take it thats what they are) what have people done with these, as im not sure whether to leave them open, filter them or what?
Any help would be much apreciated

I'm not familiar with the CB400N airbox but if the hoses just hang down under the bike from the airbox then they are probably just drain hoses, if that is the case then don't worry about them, without an airbox you won't need them.

They're drain hoses, so you don't need to do anything with them.

Don't throw out the airbox though - those CV carbs on the later CB / CM's don't like pods.
