CB400T I Hawk Air Filter

I have been unable to locate an air filter for my 1979 Hawk T I project. I do not want to use pods or Uni filters if I can help it. Does anyone know a good source?

I may be wrong but I think it is the same filter as used in the air box for most of the '79-85 400-500cc twins. I have a almost new K&N filter and the air box to a 1982 Nighthawk 450 if you want to give it a go, say $10 and shipping for all or some of it. It is more like I am throwing in the air box with the filter at this point.

I believe they are still available from the dealer, not expensive either.

The hawk has a panel-type filter while the Nighthawk has a cylindrical filter. Bike Bandit has it, but I will try a dealer as the shipping would cost as much as the filter.

I just ordered one for my 80 Hawk. Just over $11 on ebay. Perfect stock replacement.
