Cb450 No Start

I have a 1970 CB450 kWh Mikuni VM32s jetted for the CB450 by DCC. I cannot get the bike to start without starter fluid and it stops running when the starter fluid runs out. I am getting fuel to the bowls, but not into the engine. There is not much of a height difference between the petcock and the fuel inlet on the carburetors. I am wondering if there is not enough pressure with a gallon of fuel in the tank to raise the floats enough. Looking for ideas.

I'm in the same boat as you man. What are your fuel and air screws adjusted at? (How many turns out)

I'm playing with mine now trying to get the right mixture. Also, put the fuel on reserve, it will take gas from lower on the petcock, so you can run it with less gas

Problem solved. The since-fired mechanic must have tried to start it months ago. The gas deteriorated and gummed up the carburetors. They are now clean and working properly. She runs well.
