cb450 timing trouble

hey guys, I had trouble with my bike only running on the left cylinder and the right cylinder kind of popping in and out. So I adjusted my timing and i got the right cylinder to run great, the only thing is the left cylinder isnt running. I went over the timing again last night and my little light lights up right on their respected lines like they are supposed to and the gaps are at .012. Anyone have any ideas/pointers?

Timing comes before tuning. If you are using a static light are you sure it is comng on spot on? I find it necessarry to have some help so I can be sure that the light is coming on EXACTLY at the right time.
 
What's the history of the bike ??? just got it, been riding for awhile, just rebuilt, or just got out of storage :D
