Wow, all we did was stand around and act like we were repairin an old 72 Ford LTD!? Great stuff!

They are . They came from France. I have been really pleased with the appearance of them. I hope they work as good as they look

sorry to say, but ive heard that the quality on those isnt up to par. They look damn nice, and its a shame because they dont perform like they look.

I would be glad to have you come up. Lets wait for the good weather so you can ride your bike here. We would love to check out your build. We do have a legit title and lots and lots of rust ;D

Wow! small world, i assumed you were in the states. My high school in Niagara Falls had awesome tech set up too, full wood working, metal, automotive and refridegeration shops.

I am teaching at UOIT for a private ESL school existing on campus. Any chance I could come up and see the progress in the new year? Maybe I can give some kind of talk on cultural sensitivity or something to make it legit with your principal! ;D

Do you have a legit title for the bike? If so, you can worry about the safety and register once its done, thats what I did with mine.

Should I get it certified and plated before making too many modifications?

I wouldn't bother getting it certified first. Modifications won't affect certification as long as all the safety equipment works like all lights, head and swingarm bearings, brakes etc. But if you plan on street riding and need insurance, you will be asked if there's any custom work or modifications. I just tell my insurer it's stock. Getting papers in your name is another story although I heard the MTO in Aurora is easy to deal with regarding old bikes.

Bummer!! I guess we will just have to go reaaaly slow in the corners. ;D
