CB550 Pods or NO Pods

Hey guys,
I've been trying to figure out if i should run pods on my CB550, or use a stock air box. If I use my stock air box, I will not be able to make the bike look how I envisioned it, but obviously getting the bike to run corectly is more important. Should I use the stock air box, or should I try the pods?

does anymore have a stock airbox and side plates for sale?

What year 550?
Late model 'FourK' has real lean set up and different cabs to F or early K series

K carbs need more work but can be used with K&N
You will need to change pilot jets about 2~3 sizes larger, raise float level 1.5mm and use anywhere from 107 to 122 main jets, depending on exhaust system
Needle has to be dropped one clip position, probably second groove from top

Thank You Crazy Pj. I work at a motorcycle dealership, so i would be able to purchase the KNN filters at a really good price... And all of our techs don't know much about these carbs. When they saw that the main jet had a O-ring, they pretty much walked away slowly... I think i might be able to order the jets threw Sudco, but i don't think they sell pilot jets.... is there a place that sells jet kits for these bikes

Pretty sure there has never been a jet kit for the FourK carbs?
The press in jets are available from several places, don't loose or damage the clips that hold them in, they are quite difficult to get hold off
