cb650 turn signal woes

just finished wireing new rear light sets and flashers dont want to flash.
am i missing something.
or do i need to get a modern relay to accomadate new lights?
the turn signals ar5e basic singal wire lights similar to oem but smaller and nicert shape.

any help please?
or if some in toronto with expiereince updating lights on these want comt take a look at mine? ;D

Are the new lights grounded?
I usually use the old frame ground and attach the new light stem through it on the frame.

If your new rear turns are not "self-grounding", then it wont flash, it will just stay on.

Some one correct me if Im wrong...

there single wire ground to frame same as oem, sohc forum said there probely lower voltage so may need change relay to a newer one, any one know where relay is on a 650 i think i know but not positive?

Yup! Canadian tire!!
I just did mine.
They have a great assortment in the qutomotive section. Make sure you get the electronic type. and there is a 3-prong or a 2-prong. Mine was the round 3 prong (semi-transparent) one.
You may need to switch tie way the wires connect to the relay... but there are only 2 or 3, so that's only 9 combo's.

Take the old one into Crappy Tire and you'll find a new one - benefit is the signals will come on faster too - less time for the relay to heat up and start switching. If it doesn't work take it back - the packaging usually allows you to carefully remove it / put it back in without damaging the package.

You may need to try a couple times... I had to return the square (more expensive) one for a round (cheaper) one... Same Brand name.

any one with a modern electronic relay want tell me where you park your bike thats not in your garage, and where is your relay located, two prong relay bikes only
