Chrome 1971 cb500 engine Den CO

Ok so this is first time on here so I'll include my number for questions ect. Have a 1971 Honda cb500 four motor that turns over ( I have never heard it run) was told it was bored and stroked and never met a Harley it didn't take haha (again never been inside motor so just what I was told) it was in a 70s chopper. Chrome everything case head carbs ect pretty damn shiny. It does have some chrome chipping on linkage kit and valve cover. Green powder in between fins and side covers. Has a(1) broken exhaust stud don't have pics but I will take one and post it soon.

Willing to ship if buyer will let me take time to properly get it done crated ect. And pay shipping cost of corse. I am able to store it if someone is willing to take road trip.

Asking $1200 saw carbs sell years ago for 500 so kinda gauging off that

That's more than a running, riding 500 can be had for in a lot of places, especially with the condition unknown. If you want that kind of money, it'd be worth taking a look inside and seeing what is there.
 
Not for everyone type thing I get that. And yes if your looking for a cb500f complete you might find a decent one complete. Show me where you can find this. It's an oddball thing that's under my bench until something happens until I find a 70s roller chopper for it or it sells. Parted out it will bring this just would rather sell whole or put in riding bike

Build a stand to hang it on, some shops will buy display motors like that for decent bank... I know lots of show museums like Speedway Motors has over 100 on display and 100's more in racks all worth decent cash.

My brother is in Longmont or between there and Loveland, if you decide to fire sale it I'll make an offer, but don't be upset
