Hello everyone....great forum...I'm not sure how I've missed this till now.
I am located in Cincinnati and I have two cafe racer style bikes. I have fully refurbished 1972 Triumph Bonneville 650. Sweet ride and I've done the ton on her...although she's a bit shaky at those speeds! I have a set of drag bars on her and I'm currently swapping out the stock switches for something a bit more streamlined.
I am also finishing up a 1972 Honda CB450. This bike is really styled in the cafe look with clubman bars, checker tape and Ace Cafe decals. I did a complete rebuild and got her started last fall. Due to my work, I haven't been able to work on her till recently. I seem to have discovered a grounding problem which is causing me a few headaches. As I powdercoated the frame, I wasn't dilligent about keeping the grounding points solid. I'll probably run a wire to solve the problem. I hope to have her running soon.
