Cj360 longer swingarm

Can i change my cj360 rearset swingarm for another model which is longer, around 5cm. so that i dont need to cut the swingarm and thereby weaken it. I Would prefer it from a honda cb if posible

There isn't another model swing arm that is longer than stock that will fit the 360 frame, believe me most of us have looked high and low. 450 swinger fit will but it is shorter.

Look up trek97 on the forums and check out how he stretched his swing arm, did not require cutting the tubes.

Well, someone found someone ;D
There are probably a few swing arms that will fit, I've never bothered to look as CB/CJ doesn't NEED a longer swing arm.
The only reason to fit one is styling (which is OK)
I have a couple of different S/A laying around, I'll see how far off they are

I havent "accidentally" popped a single wheelie since the swingarm mod! ;D And its a monster when it comes to hill climbing here in east central Illinois.

LOL, I know a Yamaha DT125~175 swing arm can be fitted with minimal modifications.
Only need to make bronze swing arm bushings to convert Yam to Honda (plus maybe narrow slightly, I forget?)

Just took a look at XS400 SECA build, pretty sure that swing arm could be made to fit without too many problems.
Need to PM guy and get him to measure length from pivot to end 8)

Yes the reason is styling, i only want 1,5-2inches longer, nothing wild.
If you want to look in to this it would be greeaaat.
