CL350 front end installation

hi guys,

im in the process of installing my front end, im building my cl350 from scratch, so i dont have anything assemble, but im just not sure how to go with the install, i put the triple tree and everything without a problem, but im just not sure on how to go with aligning the forks, tightening the top clamp and whatnot so everything is straight, any help is appreciated, thanks!

Basically as long as the bearings are in there and well packed with grease, you tighten the locking nuts down until there's no play in the front end and it turns back and forth smoothly.

Aside from that, so long as all the parts are where they belong and the fork tubes are straight, there's no 'alignment' needed. Slap the front wheel on and the fender and you're rolling.

You can also always adjust the steering head anytime - it's a regular maintenance item that needs to be done from time to time.

download a free official honda manual. And pay very close attention to the torque values for tightening everything on the front end especially the fork tube clamps. do not overtighten them. and the bearing setup...to tight or too loose will cause you a high speed wobble.
also...why is the crankshaft just randomly lying there on the floor? it needs to be in a safer place, whilst you work on the front end. not under your feet.

thanks for the input! about the bearings i used tapper bearings, is it ok to use the dust seal for the upper bearings below the spannet nut?

as for the crank, i was clearing the table to make so i can start working in the engine, thats why its there hehe
