I got a 72 Honda Cl350 with some pitting on one of the cam lobes causing some wear on my rocker arm.
Is there anyway to repair this or do i need to replace it, and does anyone know where i could get a stock cam for a 72 cl350?

The can and rockers are junk . . don't rewerld it just buy a new one . . you can get your rockers rewelded at web cams . . they also sell performance cams that are eeldedd reground stockers so they could use yours as a core . . look on cnnsl.com for orig can and rocker arms . . check the can timing, if the chain s stretched I would get a new one

You may want to find a used one on e-bay....A reground Cam for a CB/CL350 engine at Bore-Tech http://bore-tech.com/categories/honda-350-cbclsl/cam-and-valve/?page=1 Costs $439. By the time you get your rockers and cam reground, you may of spent a bit more than finding a good used engine, or good used cam parts. Keep in mind the 350 has an Early cam and rockers and a late cam and rockers. The rockers and cams do not interchange with each other.

You might even be able to find a used bike with good parts for the cost, and part out the parts you don't need and get your money back.

A web reground cam with your core is only $183 .. . they have both early and late stules . . $439.00 Is stupid for a regrind on a 2 lobe cam . . ii get v8 cams reground for under $200.00

A used cam is just that.

Maybe you are using a different Web Cam company....The one I see is $390 for a mild cam. Still a bit of money. A used Cam in good shape is a used cam, but it works at a much lower price point. A lot of hard parts can be found with low mileage, low wear. A used cam that has 1000 miles on it is barely broke in.

Look for a number on the can . . if it says 132X5 you can get it reground for $60.00 . . if it needs welding it is a little more.
