my first cafe. currently in progress. im almost 16 years old. live in socal. once this is done i will have my license hopefully. lots of work. lots more fun.

sorry for the shitty picture. sandblasted first. cleaned. grinded off stupid tabs. primed, sprayed, then cleared. hopefully it holds up. sprayed my forks and shocks with appliance epoxy. lots of other work done as well.

uh oh. this likes like the same color i am planning on doing my frame. i also live in So cal. at my current rate of progress you will be done first. cant wait to see the rest.
 
Nice start. I love that frame color! Brother for being almost 16 you are doing a fantastic job. Hell, if you were 30 I'd say the same. Looks like you've got everything organized pretty good. One trick is to use ziplock baggies and label everything as you take it off. Will really help when you go to put it back together. Keep up the great work and keep us posted
 
thanks! much appreciated. ya i have all the bolts in a box in labeled zip locks. and all those parts in the pics have been further organized as well. coming along slowly but surely.
 
im just a tad older then yourself... if your the one paying for everything ill tell ya this- its gonna take a lot longer then you expected.

im digging the frame color... not so much the hubs being totally blacked out.... it will probably look great once its all said and done though
 
have you been looking in my mind? my wheels are black and my frame will be copper. atleast my hubs are polished. at this rate, i will know what my bike will look like before i finish it. keep up the progress.
 
honestly your bike and writeup was the reason i got a cafe. Dont worry it wont be exactly like yours tho. minus the frame color of course...
