hey all, you've run into this before i'm sure, i have tomasselli clip ons i want to fit bar end mirrors into it, but the bar gets too small for the mirrors to fit, i need a machinist to bore it out to fit, someone in the gta would be great,why the bars are made that way i don't know,

Id probabbly just start with a small drill bit first just to get through the blockage, them move up to the largest one you have.
Perhaps then use a dremel wtih a rotating sanding piece to clean it up to the size you need....
 
I had no problem at all. The bar diameter is 7/8'', and I put in one of the emgo chrome bar end mirrors. Dropped right in and tightened right up.

I've got Tommaselli Adj. on the CB, and had no issues?
 
i just did it, used a large bit the kind you use to install a door handle , it took 15 -20 minutes, but it's done, also drilled my top triple to hold the starter button,
