Clutch....

Im trying to get my clutch set correctly, but no dice. No matter how its set the bike always seems to be ruff engaging, By ruff I mean as i let out on the clutch the bike starts moving then it goes " clunk " when the gears engage.. now that I think about it could it be my shifter thats doing this?

i think im going to change my oil to somthing heavy maybe that will smooth things out... it did get worse as it got warmed up. any suggestions on oil?
