Advise: only allow yourself to think about your bike OUTSIDE of class. I have such a hard time concentrating due to my bike. If I have a sheet a of paper I'm sketching out some plans for it or making lists of mods and such in class.

im engineering(undecided) at ohio state. i just want to get my feet wet so i have a better idea of what i want to do.

i tried these cheapo bars on to determine whether or not to go with clipons. i ran into a couple of problems while doin this. my throttle cable snapped and i have to reroute some wires and clutch cable due to the change in distance of the levers.

Awesome Bike!

I just graduated in Mechanical Engineering and was unable to find a job. So instead I moved back in with my parents and bought a 79 650! Crazy how that works out, huh?

I bought the bike from a friend who started a cafe project(I think he put clubmans on and that's it), and then he hit a dog and laid it down. He just left for africa with the peace corp so he sold it to me for 200 bucks.

I have been working on it for about 3 weeks, and with no money I have just been able to do the bare minimum. I am going to start a build thread, but until I get around to it, you can check out my web album at:
