CT90 carb help

Unfortunately this is the 1969 model with the rare carb. I can't find an IPB of this carb. Any help with that would be amazing, but here is my current issue...

What is this and where does it go? It came in a small separate package from the other gaskets with these other two Orings that fit either side of it rather well. Any help? I'm posting in HELP as well

I replaced float bowl o ring and the fuel passage o ring and it's STILL leaking. Very confused.

Is it some kind of restrictor to keep the pressure from the fuel tank forcing the float down? That's my best guess but I can't figure out where it goes

I believe it was included to cover all the models of carbs for the CT90. If you look at this fiche for the 1974 model you see that part included in the whole #9 assembly.

Wow, thank you so much. I've been trying to find a carb schematic...

I guess that piece couldn't cause a fuel leak, so I'm good there. I'll rebuild the altitude compensator another day.

I thought it was a petcock piece and I was sitting there trying to figure out a way to make it fit around the petcock fuel filter

Haha, actually, that's still the wrong schematic. The 1969 bikes had two runs with two different carbs. One had a float bowl held on with two screws and is much more common, sharing a carb with later models... one had a float bowl held on with four screws, the oddball carb, which is what I have.

But that piece is still correct... Still trying to sort this stubborn leak. Might just buy a new carb altogether
